Restaurant U Malířů 1543 received three Golden Lions – awards for the best Czech restaurants, organized by TopLife Czech publishing house and evaluating the quality of Czech gastronomic facilities.
What’s new this year was the awarding of the best Czech chef. Our chef Miroslav Doležal has been ranked in the top 10. So this year we have a reason to celebrate!
The awards were presented to their winners in the Paspův hall at the Prague brewery Staropramen (21st November 2019). Three Golden lions guarantee an extraordinary gourmet experience, two promise top-class gastronomy and one excellent cuisine and service.
A new guide to the selection of the best Czech restaurants for all lovers of high-quality gastronomy was also launched during the awards ceremony.

Since 2014, the publishing house TopLife Czech has been the organiser of Nejlepší restaurace (Best Restaurant) quality assessment project. The award-winning restaurants are featured in the current selection of “Best Restaurants Awarded with Golden Lions” for each season.
